Wine tastings are the ideal opportunity for you to see what our business is all about.  You can have a good sniff and taste without making any commitment.  We hold two major tastings a year  -  in the late spring and late autumn  -  and we would be delighted to see you at either, or both.  Currently, they are both held in Newcastle, at The Biscuit Factory Art Gallery, which is close to the city centre.

We showcase both new wines we are interested in listing as well as new vintages of old favourites.  We always have a broad spectrum of price and style so you can find something of interest whether you are looking for everyday drinking, for wines for more special occasions or for a wine that’s just that little bit different.  Our aim is to give you plenty of opportunity to experiment.

We like to keep the evenings to a manageable size, with between 70 and 90 wines on show; don’t worry, you don’t have to taste them all.  The stands are manned either by the producers themselves or their representatives.  This means you can get information straight from the horse’s mouth.  There is a modest entry fee which is refunded if an order is placed during the evening.

Occasionally, we hold smaller, more specific tastings.  If you would like to come along to one of these, please register your interest.
