Domaine Jean Sipp

Jean-Jacques Sipp has run this Domaine since 1973 and is now assited by his son Jean-Guilaume.  They own 50 small plots in 5 villages with a total area of 23 hectares.  Twenty different wines are produced from seven different varieties.  Farming follows organic principles, whilst the winemaking is a blend of old and new, with temperature controlled tanks for vinification and old wooden tuns for lees ageing.  The variety of flavours across the range and the depth and power of the wines is exceptional.
