Opulent and concentrated with honeyed fruit and toasted wheatmeal flavours off-set by fresh pears, peppery-spice and a good lick of acidity. This is old-vine Chenin fermented in barrels, but older barrels that have given depth and dimension to the flavours but no overt oakiness.
