Mas Daumas Gassac Rouge 2006 Vintage

The summer was quite different from any other a beautiful very hot month of July, followed by a cold August dominated by the north wind.  As a result, the years wine is exceedingly concentrated oozing rich, powerful aromas.  On the downside production was down by 20% so this vintage will be rare.

This wine is approachable now, however it will benefit from keeping.
