Chablis, Domaine des Malandes

Situated in the Yonne department in the Burgundy region, halfway between Paris and Beaune, the Chablis wine-growing region stretches the length of the Serein valley, covering 5,000 hectares. Planted with Chardonnay grapes only, our world-renowned white wines come in four appellations which carry the Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée (AOC) label: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru and Chablis Grand Cru. Chablis wines make up 20% of the Burgundy wine harvest and 0.1% of world wine production or 3.4 million bottles per year. This French wine is the only one to possess such a specific terroir, as the Kimmeridgian layer benefits from a perfect climate – a condition which is further enhanced by the passion and know-how of the Chablis wine-makers. These white wines of exceptional quality, with their freshness and minerality, bring a little of the sublime into both everyday life and special occasions.
