Blend :                  35% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir, 30% Pinot Meunier

Creation of the blend
Here we have a blend from more than 20 different crus including from our own family vineyards in Cumieres, Damery, Hautvillers and Verneuil plus typically some vins de reserve (around 20% in each blend)  We do a malo-lactic fermentation before the blending; no oak is used.
After the bottling the second fermentation takes place in the bottle, and this is then aged for three years in a horizontal position on the lees.
At Joseph Perrier we still use the traditional method of remuage using pupitres, before disgorging and adding the “liqueur d’expedition”.
The bottles are then left in stock for 3 months for the” liqueur d’expedition” to marry completely.
ABV 12% vol. Sizes produced all fermented in bottle of origin: half bottles, bottles, magnums, jeroboams, methusalems.
