Our wines from Roundhill and Rutherford Ranch are a good benchmark for Californian wines. Zinfandel is the region’s star red grape; it is well-established and produces a good claret-style wine when vinified properly. Often the white Zinfandel – the Rose of California - can be like drinking a liquid sweet confection. However, our Roundhill White Zinfandel is a much more serious wine altogether.
